BYU's Intro to Advertising class briefly introduces students to the advertising world, roles in the agency, and then culminates with a "start-to-finish" advertising campaign of an assigned brand.
This was the first "real" advertising project I worked on.
The client asked that we created a new brand strategy and a multi-channel advertising campaign that would increase sales of shoes from the 18-25 year old demographic.
Together with my team, we conducted hours of social media surveys, secondary database research, as well as focus groups to gather our own insights and create a campaign strategy.
I learned how to create surveys, moderate focus groups, analyze data, and uncover insights. Additionally, I got a lot better at using the Adobe Creative Suite!
